Posted by Perranuthnoe Village Website |

Our Christmas Tree will once again be in the village for all to see and will be lit on

Friday 18th December

The approximate schedule of events is: -

6.00 – 8.30pm. Village Crafts will be hosting an open evening (weather permitting!!), with Christmas decorations, mulled wine, Cornish mulled apple juice, nibbles, music and more…* 10% discount on purchases for this evening only. Don’t forget you are able to visit after the tree has been lit !!!!!!

7.00 pm. The tree will be blessed and illuminated and the carols begin. We hope that everyone will join in the carol singing (bring a torch to light up your hymn sheet).

7.15 pm. Father Christmas will be in his grotto with a gift for all village children UNDER the age of twelve.

Hot sausage rolls and mince pies will be handed around during the carols, followed by punch and nibbles served in the Victoria Inn (courtesy of Stewart & Anna).

It has become the tradition for us to ask for “volunteers” to bake (or supply) a dozen sausage rolls or mince pies, which will be handed round at the above event. If you are able to contribute please let Andrea at The Old Post Office know by Friday 5th December.

Your contribution will need to be left in the box provided in the garden of An Gwythow (Diane Hutch) on Friday 18th December.
